The North Coast Cultural Trust currently has over 30 funds dedicated to supporting the arts and humanities on the North Coast, either through endowment funds that benefit specific organizations, scholarship or fellowship funds, or funds that distribute grant monies to artists or arts organizations.

These Funds Include:
  • Richard Ames Music Scholarship Fund (EHS class of '56)
    Scholarship to an outstanding music student at Eureka High School.

  • Amer Memorial Fund
    Supports the Redwood Concert Ballet.

  • Arcata Odd Fellows Scholarship Fund, Lodge #85
    Scholarships made annually to Arcata & McKinleyville High School graduates going onto college and majoring in history.

  • Bancroft Scholarship Fund
    Scholarships to local students majoring in business administration or music at HSU.

  • Vernon & Grace Brightman Memorial Fund
    Supports the music program at Bridgeville School District.

  • Sarah Carter Scholarship Fund
    Scholarships to EHS students continuing their education in arts & humanities.

  • Tini Daly Clarke Memorial Museum Fund
    Supports the Clarke Memorial Museum.

  • Ferndale Museum Memorial Fund
    Donor advised fund used for acquisitions, equipment or projects.

  • Nancy Forest Theater Arts Endowment
    Supports theater arts activities at Equinox school in Arcata.

  • Romano Gabriel Sculpture Garden
    Supports the Romano Gabriel Sculpture Garden.

  • Julie Ann Garciacelay Piano Scholarship Fund
    Supports serious students of the piano at H.S.U. who are experiencing financial hardship.

  • Curtis Gillis Trust
    Grants to benefit the performing arts.

  • Gerald O. & Susan Hansen Family Fund
    Provides music training/scholarships for deserving Humboldt County musicians.

  • Ivy Hughes & Carl G. Lundgren Fund
    Unrestricted fund.

  • Humboldt Arts Council Endowmwent
    Supports the Morris Graves Museum of Art.

  • Humboldt Botanical Gardens Foundation Fund
    Used to establish a botanical garden in Humboldt, support local gardens, and to promote botanical education.
